Hosted by the three Western Rite parishes of the Denver area: St Augustine, St Columba, and St Mark, together with the Monastery of Our Lady and St Lawrence, the Antiochian Western Rite Conference will convene from 4th to 7th August 2026. The theme of the Conference will be Sacred Art and Sacred Space. There will be speeches on iconography in theory and practice, rood screens, Orthodox architecture in general, and the architecture of early Christian Jerusalem in particular. A variety of services will be held, drawing from both the Roman and English traditions. These will include the daily offices of Lauds and Vespers, as well as a sung requiem, a solemn high mass, a low mass in Latin and the office of Terce (the third hour).
